Social counseling for the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district

For the district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg we offer social counseling for all questions and problems with authorities, contracts, health care and much more. By providing information and advice, we want to enable you to recognize your rights and deal confidently with the challenges posed by authorities, administration and service providers.

We cooperate with the Nachbarschaftshaus Urbanstraße e. V. as well as within the network of social counseling centers, tenant counseling centers and debt counseling centers. We work together with special advice centers and specialist services as well as with lawyers and doctors.

We offer social counseling for the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district in Berlin on all important (life) issues:

• Employment office, job center (ALG I and ALG II)
• Bafög, education grants
• Social welfare office
• WBS, housing benefit
• Health insurance, pension insurance, pension office (severely disabled person's pass)
• Registry office
• Social psychiatric service, youth welfare office
• Daycare center, school, child benefit
• Private contracts, e.g. rental agreements or cell phone contracts
• If required, we can refer you to specialist services, doctors and other specialized facilities

We offer advice in German, Kurdish, Arabic, Turkish, Farsi and English.
